Poet, Sailor, Songwriter, Musician, Filmmaker, Thinker.

Bob RobbHis life has taken him on more adventures then is the norm for a kid born in Fergus, Ontario.

As a seaman to many corners of the world.

As a song writer poet to the many corners of the heart.

As a musician and filmmaker to many corners of culture and the muse.

As a thinker to where corners seem to disappear.

You may have caught a glimpse or heard him on CBC, BBC, NFB, PBS kids live.  Or perhaps Radio Chetumal in Mexico or TV Sweden’s the Dream.

Or heard him with his garbage pail on the streets in Elora, Montreal, Savana, Key West or New Orleans.  Or with his puppets animating as Bosun Bob in Tobermorry.

Or remember him on the albums of Willy Dunn The great Indian activist and mystic poet and filmmaker.  Or heard the street recordings in Havana or with Father Philthy in Elora.

Or seen him on stage with famous people like Buka White, Paul Butterfield, Jessie Winchester, Nonie Crete, Katlin Kiss, or the Chieftains.  Or in coffee houses festivals and bars around the country.

An incomparable musical life lived along a road less traveled - leads on and on.
